A weed is a plant growing where you do not want it, a Volunteer is a plant you did not plant where it is growing but you keep it anyway. That is where this dahlia’s name came from, we did not plant it, it volunteered. Every bloom has great form. RaeAnn’s Volunteer has won Best dahlia in show at dahlia shows.
